What are you "must do's" for a first time visitor?

Going to be in Anguilla in March - a Saturday to Thursday - for a first time visitor - what are you must do's? Obviously we all have different tastes - we love music, dancing, drinks, and enjoying the beach (snorkle and swim).

If you were giving advice - what would you tell someone that they can't miss? what days to what places, etc.

thanks!

Great question, and I'm sure you'll have lots of ideas! My top 5, in no particular order, are as follows:

Have dinner at Veya

Do a shot of Mamawanna (spelling?!) Juice with Elvis at Elvis's

Watch the sunset from any point of your choosing

Choose a beach (mine is Meads) and spend the entire afternoon limin'

Listen to Boss sing

A 6th would be dance to one of the amazing bands (I'm a Pumphouse fan and a Gwen's fan for dancing!), but if I don't end it at my top 5 you'll have way too many things for 5 days!

Enjoy, and whatever you choose please know you can't go wrong!

Spend as much time on the beach and in the water as possible (our favorite is Shoal Bay East). Visit Gwen's on a Sunday afternoon for the breathtaking view, great music and excellent rum punches.

Discover the privacy of Cove Bay

Stare at the "diamond-studded" ocean of Maundays Bay

For local limin' go for a Corner Bar Pizza

Shop for gifts etc. at Irie Life/Sea Spray/Petals/Zazaa

Take home a Geraud sandwich on the plane with you

I think you can rent a kayak down at Crocus Bay. Not sure if DaVida rents them, or if Calvin does, or if it is through someone else, but I've seen people down there with kayaks... maybe someone else knows?

Sunday idea - rent a kayak in the morning, paddle over to Little Bay, then come back in the afternoon and hang out at DaVida while Omari Banks plays. Great place to hang out on a Sunday.

Walk the beaches, as many as you can. They're all beautiful and different. Don't miss Shoal Bay East, Rendezvous Bay, Meads Bay and Maundays Bay.

On Rendezvous, check out the Dune Preserve, especially on Sunday afternoons.

I would say visit little bay- using a kayak to get there and back would be fun, I've seen people doing it.

Go for a day trip on Chocolat out to Prickly Pear, a wonderful time.

Have lunch at Scilly Cay, delicious crayfish and lethal rum punches.

Make sure not to miss Straw Hat, Jacala and Veya for dinner.

Have a wonderful time!!

do we need to make reservations in advance at any of those resteraunts? We will probably plan on "nice meal" - where would you recommend for something in the two entrees and glass of wine for $80-100 . everything else we usually do on the budget so we have more money for more trips. I would want something semi-authentic - no italian, etc - want a taste of the island food - can get the rest around here
