Charter from St. Croix to Anguilla

We are looking for a unique experience from St. Croix to Anguilla - does anyone know of a boat charter that provides transport from St. Croix to Anguilla?

Thanks in advance!

Can't help you with any specifics but I hope you realize that the passage between St. Croix and Anguilla can be quite rough - it's a 120+ mile stretch of open water known as the Anegada Passage and many experienced sailors have dubbed it the "OH-My God-da Passage".

You are looking at a run of at least 24 hours of open water sailing (weather permitting) and cost will be high as you'll have to also pay for the crew and boat to get back to St. Croix - think in terms of a minimum of a few thousand dollars. A power boat will be a little quicker but even more expensive as you'll have to factor in the cost of the fuel.

Lived on St Croix from 2007 to 2012 and went to AXA frequently. Agree with the above poster--Long trip in waters that can be rough. Don't know of any boat charters that make the trip. If you want an air charter check with Bholke Airways. They fly the route occasionally. We normally flew LIAT from St Croix to St Martin and took the ferry or a shuttle to AXA. You can also fly to St Thomas on Cape Air or Seaborne airways and take a 1 :30 PM flight straight into AXA . Check the LIAT web site to see if they are still flying these routes
