Galley Bay-Premium Beachfront- which ones are the newest?

Going to Galley Bay at end of the month and staying in a premium beachfront suite. Read somewhere that some are newer than others. Would like to request a newer one when we arrive.

Does anyone know if the new ones are closer to Ismays or on the other end near Gaugin restaurant?

Thanks in advance.

The newest are 17-48 to the left on the map. Closer to Ismays.

FYI -- I have stayed in both newer and older premium beachfronts and actually prefer the older ones on the Gauguin side. Yes, they are a tiny bit smaller and have terracotta ceramic floors rather than white ceramic but otherwise pretty identical -- same layout, furnishings etc. We like the older side because the beach is better on that side and those rooms have their own palapas which the newer ones do not have. Also, lots of people like the first floor so they can walk out from their patio right on to the beach -- but if prefer upstairs -- better view, balcony more private than the patio and cathedral ceilings (not sure if the first floor rooms has these), Our all time favorite resort -- enjoy!
