Places to eat outside the Halcyon Cove hotel

Hi does anyone know if its worth just having the B&B option here and just eating out please? Is there a choice within walking distance? Thanks

Plenty of choices.

Just up the hill outside the main gates you have Opus for Italian and pizza, and the Bay House at Tradewinds Hotel (steep walk up to there though!)

Along the beach, during the day you'll find a couple of watersports bars - Tony's and Sneaky Pete's, then go past Sandals and you'll reach Pepperz n Lime - Mexican/Caribbean. Shortly after that you'll come to Coconut Grove, which is OK for lunch, but IMO overrated and overpriced for Dinner. If you don't mind strolling just a little further, there's Putters just acros the road, and for an unusual evening (Wednesday/Friday) try Chippy - the fish and chip van (the lobster bites are excellent) just beyond the car park entrance to Siboney.

I'd always recommend B&B over R/O as breakfast is disproportionately expensive to eat out.

If you want to eat out a little further afield, it's a short ride into St Johns for a lot more choices.

Don't forget La Bussola too just a little further on from the chippy. Italian and excellent thin crust pizza.

Regards.

Mark.
