Hi all,

Has anyone been to the Amazonia Restaurant? If so what did you think about it?

We ate there second week of December 2008. We loved it!!!! The food was very good, the service impeccable (we did have a slight snafu upon arrival regarding our reservation, but the manager straightened it out). There is way more food than you will be able to eat. Our one regret is that we did not have the opportunity to go back just for the salad bar, which, in itself, is more than enough for a meal. We paid $42.00 pp (US) and felt that was very reasonable. You need to make reservations ahead of time.

If you want to try this type of restaurant consider Texas de Brazil. A couple of blocks from Amazonia and you can get a 25% or 50% discount by signing up to their e-club on their web site (choose Aruba as your favorite destination). Put in a birthday that is about 1 -2 weeks before your trip and they will e-mail you a buy one get on free coupon for your birthday - and no, they don't ask for any ID to check your birthday.
