How is the beach in front of the Holiday Inn?

Booked to go last week in August. Have read lots about top 10 beaches ratings for Palm Beach but also read in this forums about rocks, seaweed, 2'drops, cloudy water. I know you need to take some of the ratings on here with a grain of salt. Your experiences?

This is a very nice and long stretch of beach. I have found that the water in Aruba is not very clear at the shore. Perhaps it is from the slight wave action kicking up sand but you will hard pressed to see your feet when stating in 4 feet of water.

I've never had problems with sea grass etc. in Aruba. The beach is sandy and the water is clear.

Beach in front of IH can be crowded, but this is true of many of the beaches in the high rise area.

It just made no sense that the beaches would be held in such high regard and then people complain about it anyways. Is it better than the beach at Punta Cana?

Don't worry at all about the beach. You will love it.
