Wish you were here

Howdy folks, we are finally on island for our first trip to Aruba. Having a great time! So far we have tried Wacky Wahoos and Salt and Pepper. Both had great food.

This afternoon we drove to San Nicholas and watched part of the Carnival parade. Lots of colorful floats and costumes.

We are staying in a house just north of the high rise section of Palm Beach. Where is Linda's Pancakes? Thanks again for all of your help!

I don't know why we should be jealous. It is a warm 20 degrees here, and I only have to work about 14 hours tomorrow.

Linda's Pancakes & Pizza is about a mile or so inland from the high rise hotel area. Just take the main road going inland from the Occidental (near Casa Tua) and go about a mile or so....look for the Valero gas station on the left hand side of the road. Immediately after the Valero is a small strip mall with a parking lot in front of it. At one end of the strip mall (next to the Valero) is Linda's and at the opposite end is Bingo's (a great Dutch pub that we frequent alot for both food and drinks.)

How's the weather been? Any rain in the day or only at night?

Weather is great mid 80s but of course very windy. It rained briefly this morning, just enough to clean off the dust! Well we are off to baby beach. Thanks!
