Small upscale resort?

We're thinking of a short trip to Aruba in Feb. (4-5 nights). We prefer smaller (quiet) resorts. Would appreciate any suggestions... near enough to restaurants and nightlife, as well as sites, but upscale and adult oriented. Thanks for any ideas.

We love Bucuti. It is in the low rise area but IMO has the best beach and has alot of places to eat (some with short cab ride). Bucitui has the best beach and the resort does not allow children. Very relaxed and layed back. It is a little pricey but the service you get is worth it. Also, if you have extra money go for the Suites, but if not, the rooms are also very nice and they are all close to the beach. Highrise area is about a 10 min cab ride. Also there is a casino across the street and some places to eat that you can walk to.

We go because of the beach and services.

Another vote for Bucuti. One of these days I'm going to go over there and make a video of the place.

Another vote for Bucuti. You will not find a small resort in the high rise area that is in the middle of the action, or that is adults only. Therefore, you'll need to stay a short distance away but it is easily accessible by cab, rental car or bus.

Take a look at Amsterdam Manor. Only 72 rooms and very quiet. We loved it.
