Cheap eats question..

This is our first time in Aruba. We will be staying at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club. I've read about all of the high end restaurants but can someone steer me in the direction of some cheaper (but tasty) places to eat. Maybe sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers or entrees under $20........Looking for them to be within 3/4 mile of the hotel. Thanks, in advance!!

Sue

We liked Smokey Joe's. Burgers, sandwiches and all you can eat ribs on Tues night. Champs had a good burger and a great brownie sundae. A lot of folks mention Linda's Pancakes. Sounds good but we didn't make it there. We had take out pizza from Bob's pizza and that was good, too.

Go to the grocery store since at the SC your unit has a kitchen. We there are many grills there if interested. Under the stars and the beach make for a great night. Have fun

Smokey Joe's is great and the portions are huge. Consider ordering the three half rack and you will have tons extra to bring back for lunch/dinner the next day. Along this same stretch Casa Tua, Fishes and More and the Argentinan Grill are all in the price range.

I agree. All are located across from the Hyatt. Menus are posted outside so you can decide before being seated. There is a stage outside with entertainment (singer) around 8:00 or so.

when we stayed at the surf club, we liked to go to moombas for lunch. good sandwiches, on the beach, better imo than eating at the pool at the marriott. just walk towards the beach and go left.
