Getting to snorkel spots

Hi - first trip in April for 10 days - staying at the village and golf - very excited. We are going to bring our own snorkel gear and want to try some different spots, but we won't have a vehicle, cept' maybe one day. What are some good beach snorkel spots and how can we get there easily? thanks!

Maybe think of taking a sunset snorkel cruise. We have been using Black Pearl and love it. Last year we took our grandson (4 yrs) and he had a great time. He also went in the water from the boat, lol. Maybe this year he will snorkel. If you book online you get a discount. Also, Boca Catalina has good snorkeling and you could probable use the bus, with a little walking. Maybe others can help you out with that as we rent a car, just easier.

You can get to Boca Catalina and Malmok for snorkeling via bus. Or you can also book one of the many snorkel cruises available - morning, afternoon, or all day. Our favorites are the morning snorkel cruise on the Octopus and the all day snorkel/sail on the Tranquilo.

Malmok-Arashi beach area are good for snorkeling offshore. There aren't many snorkelers there unless the excursion group shows up and they are usually out further from the shore than you will be.
