Do Temporary US residents need visa to enter Aruba?

My Husband and I are Indian Citizens currently with work permits(H1b under 3yrs) in US, planning to go on our honeymoon to Aruba this Thanksgiving. Do we need visa to enter Aruba?

Few sites say both permanent and temp residents can enter without visa and few say only permanent residents can enter visa free.

If I do need a visa can i obtain it online and can I get it in time for my trip?

Please share your immigration experience if you did/didnt travel without visa

Thanks

Aruna

You will need a Aruba visa. Look at the document Amy provided more careful, it doesn't mention that India citizen with valid US visa can enter Aruba without visa.

- Holders of a valid used (entry) visa for either the United States of America, Canada, The Schengen Territory (Schengen Visa), United Kingdom, Ireland, and who are nationals of Colombia

This only indicates nationals of Columbia with valid US visa don't need a Aruba visa (for up to 30 days stay).

ChirasiC, you are a Japanese national, are you not? aruna, I teach ESL and I have found that immigrants are often the best sources for current information regarding travel from the US to other countries.

(Amy's not an immigrant, but she doesn't steer people wrong, either!)

I think it depends on what passport you currently have. If it is a US passport then I don't think you need a visa.

If you are holding a passport of India then the answer is yes.

Read the document Amy posted in number 1. reply.
