The new Elements Restaurant at Bucuti Resort has quickly become one of the best dinning experiences on the Island. https://www.facebook.com/ElementsAruba, I would replace ''Passions on the Beach'' With Elements for a similar romantic sunset dinner or later on the beach. Plus no kids.

Also White Modern which is over a year old now but not sure when you were last in Aruba. , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7QLMB8hsys

Both these places have raised the standard of fine cuisine in Aruba without feeling pretentious.

We love Ike's Bistro - creative food and nice atmosphere at night by the pool.

The West Deck just opened this past fall. We went there twice in Nov. Loved their smaller plates and plates to share - plus a great view looking at the water.

For us, Elements was okay. The food sounded fantastic on the menu but execution was just okay so that left us feeling disappointed. Service was slightly off. We'll try it again sometime in the future.

The West Deck is where, Amy? Kinda like a Pinchos?

It's owned by the same people who own Pinchos but it's much more casual. It's located just past the Renaissance downtown on Governor's Bay (before you get to Pinchos).

Ty ladies....Dang, have not been over that way since they moved that poor kitty years ago. By the time I get through all the junk, er, souvenir, stores I am obligated to have a Balashi or two or three at the Paddock.

Skip the Paddock and go to the West Deck - better service, better view...same cold beer. :)

eds... we loved white modern, ate there a few times. elements looks nice, just not a big fan of toes in the sand. i'd opt for the patio.

amy...the west deck will definitely make the list. we are big fans of pinchos and casual sounds perfect.

thanks everyone.
