booking question about Tam

Does anyone know if you were to book with a travel agency (apple vacations) if you can request a room and building number with them? I only ask bc last year I booked directly with the hotel (and was able to request-and get-my room choice) but didnt know if booking with an agency would "decrease" my chances of getting a "ground vs. top room" or building numebr request... what do you think? Can i call the hotel (if i book with another place) and tell them that i have an existing resrevation and then make the request?

Yes you can call the hotel directly and ask them for your request. However when you make a reservation with an agency the hotel doesn't get the guest name until about 2 weeks before travel, before that they only know that "apple vacations" needs 4 rooms for a certain date. So don't be surprised if you try to contact the hotel prior to 2 weeks before and they say they don't have your reservation. Rest assured they will get your reservation in time for your travel.

We always book with apple and always request the room we want when booking. Also e-mail resort prior to going about a week or 2. We have never had a problem.
