What to do in Aruba at night besides clubs & casino

My husband and I are traveling to Aruba in 27 DAYS!!!!! We're so excited. This is our first trip to Aruba. We LOVE music, but don't do a lot of dancing. What is there to do at night besides clubs and casinos??? I really appreciate your help and your suggestions. This forum has been a life saver in planning this vacation. Thank you in advance for your help.

After spending the day enjoying all of the wonderful things that Aruba has to offer, we are usually exhausted by the time dinner is over! At home we can hang with the best of them, but that hot sun takes the night owl right out of us!

Dinner for us is usually at 7:30 or later (unless we are doing a sunset dinner) and when we finish at 9:30 or 10 it is lights out for us.

I should add that we enjoy adult beverages at the beach on many days as well as several adult beverages at dinner. Maybe I should stop blaming the sun....

We thought Mr. Jazz was terrific for cocktails and live music (dancing optional). Live music usually starts after 10:00.

The Paseo Herencia Mall is also fun just to walk around and people watch. There is also a water show that takes place in the main courtyard every evening.

Most of the shops along the Palm Beach strip are also open in the evening, if that is of interest.

Stop by MoomBa Beach for an after dinner drink.

I agree with walking around the mall, and walking around the Palm Beach strip in general. It's fun to look at the shops, etc., and just people watch too! We too are usually exhausted at night from the sun, but perk up when it's time to gamble. :)

Going shopping is right up my alley! We will probably be very tired as you say, but this is our first trip to Aruba and want to see and do as much as we can. Thank you for your help. Please keep the suggestions coming. :)

Garufo, across from El Gaucho usually has good entertainment, great drinks & nice cigars if you like. very good ventilation! It's not offensive at all.

Even though you don't like dancing I think the Kuckookunkoo is alot of fun its a party bus with loud music and takes u to 5 different bars. We had an awesome time it was our favorite excursion!

Don't forget the weekly shuffleboard tourney under the lights at the Rad. It starts right after the early bird specials on Wednesdays. On other nights, there is some wild canasta and chutes and ladders action at the Hyatt.

Naturally, there are the usual book readings and art auctions that you will find at most upscale resorts.

photonut, You didn't say where you are staying.

If you are staying at an all inclusive resort they may have evening entertainment.

The Divi -local dance company perform. Also live music or a DJ most evening.

The Occidental Grand - live music in the lobby a few evening a week and entertainers in the ball room starting at 9:00pm.

The Holiday Inn - nightly music by the pool and movie night

Thank you SamLee for your suggestions. We are stayin at LaCabana. I hadn't thought about going to other resorts. This is our 1st time to Aruba. We are just trying to get an idea of the different things there is to do. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

photonut, La Cabana may have evening entertainment. One evening we walked the street passed La Cabana and heard music.

Occidental Grand will not allow non-guest on the property.
