Going to Aruba for first time. how long is the flight and what is the flight path from Manchester UK to Aruba.
KLM shows 13-14 hrs. There is only one basic path - straight across
Assuming you are going on the Thomsons? I think that is the only direct flight between MAN and Aurba. The info we have been given is that the flight leaves at 10:30 UK and arrives @ Aruba 15:10
So assuming a -5 hour difference would make it approx 9.40 hours (or is my maths out again?)
As for the flight path, I know that somewhere on this big bloody internet there is a site that shows the corridors that they use, but can't find it at the moment.
EDIT: The First Choice site shows

Take off from Manchester.....lots off water until you may see one or two of the caribbean islands, more water, then after around 10 hours and a sore backside, joy
Thank you for your response.
We have never been across the Big Pond (always gone east)
Love flying and wondered what land marks we might see but it looks as though it might just be trans atlantic cargo boats. Wondered if we might have seen the Grand Banks I believe they are a wonderful sight but hey ho next time maybe.
