Can anyone tell me if the rooms in the Tam have a safe, and if its payable locally please? Also does the TV have DVD availability??Thanks

The rooms do have a safe 2 US $ a day payable at the end of your stay and no to the DVD if there was one i never saw it,never really looked at the TV if im honest.

I would say no...the safe isn't big enough for a laptop. I was thinking about taking my ipad down this year and I don't think the safe will be big enough for that either. As far as the internet rates - you can check out this link: arubabound.com/photos/…internet.jpg

The safe was the only "cheesy" thing I disliked about staying at the Tam--it's inconveniently located in the bathroom under the counter, there is a fee for its use and it requires a KEY. There is no way it could accommodate a laptop--an iPad perhaps. I'm not sure, though. Friends of ours purchased internet access for two weeks and were very happy with the service.

I'm fuzzy but I think we got the iPad in the safe.....and I agree, the safe should be free with the room.... A small issue at a place we love to return to...
