Hotel advise for little kids who love beach and pools/slides

We are heading to Aruba for the first time on 11//24 and trying to pick the right hotel. We have 2 little kids (4 and 6) who love being in the ocean, but also enjoy slides, lazy rivers, etc. So, we need advice on which hotel to stay at.

1) Beach quality - can someone who has been there recently please comment about the beach water quality? We've been reading some awful stuff recently, especially after Omar and around the Marriotts. But hard to gauge if it is temporary or not.

2) Do any of the Palm Beach high-rises have kid-friendly ammenities like slides or a lazy river? (besides the Marriott Surf Club, which we worry about due to teh water quality).

Any otehr suggestions?

Thanks very much.

The Hyatt has a nice slide.

The Radisson has a beautiful zero entry pool, no slide but a GREAT beach area.

The Surf Club is the only place with a Lazy River.

My family and I just returned from the Divi Village and my girls are 8 & 6. The golf villas area has a newer pool complex with water slide, zero entry area, and a swim up pool bar for the adults. We stayed in a 1 br unit with a full kitchen and a pull out couch. The kitchen is wonderful for making breakfast and lunch at home. They also have many oudoor gas grills if you want to pick something up at Ling & Sons for an easy dinner. The beach is across the street (maybe 300 yards?) but a golf shuttle will take you there. We loved this beach b/c it is MUCH less crowded than the hi rise area and easier to keep an eye on the children. Also a short 5-10 minute cab ($8-$10) to both town and the hi rise hotel area. I hope this helps, have a great time! Oh, also, the water quality was crystal clear and there are dozens of palapas on the beach (always were able to get one any time of day) to shield the kids from the heat of the day for a bit.

Thanks. Read some bad reviews of the Divi so will probably stay at Palm Beach.

I don't think you read any bad reviews of the Divi Golf and Village. The Links are all pretty new-we stayed in a one bedroom last April and it was beautiful and walked right out to the shallow end of the huge pool. Take a look at their web page.

hi - the hyatt regency is amazing for kids it has a great water slide and a huge pool. The beach @ the hyatt is great, be sure to get a cabana. There are a ton of great activities like water slide races and bingo by the pool every day, except Sunday.
