Bugaloe Beach Bar Closed!

Saw on another post that Depalm Pier recently either wiped out or badly damaged by heavy surf. Bugaloe closed as well . Headed Dow on Sunday - Bugaloe one of our happy hour favorites!

.Any word on how long they will be closed?

Also, there was a restaurant near Rogers Beach called Coca beach bar and restaurant? Was closed last year. Any update on this?

DePalm Pier (where Bugaloe is located) was damaged on the end and will need to be repaired before Bugaloe can re-open.

No worries though - I've seen worse when Hurricane Lenny's tail hit the Kokoa Bar (old name before the Bugaloe) in 1999 and wiped out almost the entire pier. The damage done this time is minor compared to 1999.

Coco Beach Bar (located at Rodger's Beach) is permanently closed and is no more. The land has been sold.

If the waves cooperate, they should be open soon! They were working on all of the piers today to get them back up in business.
