I hope my husband doesn't read this because he'll only roll his eyes and shake his head. I have flown literally all over the world, but there are always months in-between trips, and I have time to build up a panic. Tomorrow morning, we are flying to Aruba. First time there, and I am very excited - except that it's supposed to rain practically all week. Anyway. Does anyone have a story (or advice) about flying there from the US East Coast at this time of year? Will the stiff winds of Aruba make landing difficult, shaky? Sorry, I know I sound like a ninny, but since I can't teleport, I guess I will just have to grin and bear it. However, would love to hear any other advice, such as what to do on a rainy day....(other than gamble away the retirement stash).
