Weather is always a gamble. We've had some good weather in October and we've had some bad weather. Aruba is out of the hurricane belt but that does not mean the effects of tropical systems won't interfere with the weather there.

I have been to Aruba in October before. Had mostly sunny skies, and when it did rain, about 10-20minutes MAXIMUM a day, it quickly dried up in the same amount of time and the rest of the day was just beautiful. To be honest, the rain was a welcome as walking around in Downtown Oranjestad in the 40C/104F heat, we needed that burst of a shower to cool everything down. Aruba is out of the hurricane belt. This doesn't mean that it will be always hurricane free, but the chances of a direct hit are quite minimal (also the case for Curacao and Bonaire). I actually plan to go back to Aruba myself this year, although likely in early November.
