Riu Palace?

Thinking of Riu Palace, Palm Beach. Is there anywhere to go outside of the hotel? Local bars etc. Want an up market hotel, no children, relaxing environment.

How does the Riu compare to other hotels in the locality?

1. Re: Riu Palace?

The only adults-only accommodations on Palm/Eagle beach is Bucuti/Tara Suites.

I don't know when you are planning to travel, but I can tellyou unequivocally that the Riu beach is currently CRAWLING with young people. There are gazillions of places to go outside the hotel. I don't know how you would define "up-market."

I strongly suggest reading reviews of the Hyatt, the Radisson (I am here now), the Riu and the Westin, if you are looking for hotels in the "busy" neck of the cunucu. Another AI option is the Occidental. Many will tell you not to do AI in Aruba, but it is, of course, down to your preference.

Have a great trip, whereever you decide to go!
