The Reefs

Also in The Star, special offer for The Reefs from now through March 15th. Escape the Canadian winter, $299 per night for two, best available room, including breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.

Expect it to be a fair bit more than that by the time you add taxes, gratuities, resort charges etc. but worth taking a look.

Years ago, the Dept.of Tourism used to pass out little plastic bags containing a small quantity of pink, Bermuda beach sand. I'll bet if the D-o-T went through HM Immigration's records of visitors from the '..Great White North..' and mailed each of them a little bag of pink Bermuda sand just after the New Year; they'd see a soaring increase in Canadian bookings during winter ??

Well...uh...gee....Thanks !! all the same....but my parents and grandparents LEFT Winnipeg (honest injun) early in the last century to ESCAPE the winter snows (if you dig down through the drifts, some of their snow is probably still there) of the '..Great White North..'.
