Fanciest Restaurant On The Island?

I'm heading to Bermuda shortly with my girlfriend. What's the fanciest restaurant (or nicest or favourite) on the island please?

I'd like to 'impress'

thanks

Do you want indoor or outdoor? What kind of food? What impresses your girlfriend? What impresses me may totally turn her off.

My favourite (and worth the splurge) is the Waterlot Inn at the Fairmont Southampton. it is Old-World style and big on beef and seafood. It's actually in an old sea captain's home so it's got charm up the wazoo.

Another one of my fave's for a romantic dinner is Coconuts at the Reefs Hotel. The setting is very nice (set within a cliff).

You're taking the lady to *** RESORT BERMUDA *** for pete's sake...if she needs more '..impress-ing..' than that then....perhaps you're taking the wrong girl ??

But for '..impressive..' then probably the 'private island' dining available through CAMBRIDGE BEACHES (NOT jutst available to guests of the property) will suit the requirement. You would need to contact them DIRECTLY for advance reservations and current pricing ($500 or so ??)--

http://www.cambridgebeaches.com/

"...Private Island Dining – A boat transports couples to the island of TT where guests will dine on the freshest seafood, sip a glass of Champagne, and listen to the melodic sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. (Summer only)..."

CAMBRIDGE BEACHES also offers a more 'conventional', tiki-torch-lit dining-on-the-beach alternative on the shore out in front of the property...as does The REEFS HOTEL-- http://thereefs.com/dining/coconuts.shtml --as well as the BERMUDA MOON DANCE-- fairmont.com/southampton-bermuda/… --dininng-on-the-beach option at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel.

For other fine dining experiences--

WATERLOT INN at Fairmont Southampton Hotel--

fairmont.com/southampton-bermuda/…

and the newly openned (reopenned??) NEWPORT GASTRO PUB-- fairmont.com/southampton-bermuda/…

The more conventional dining alternatives at The REEFS HOTEL--COCONUTS, OCEAN ECHO and ROYSTON'S--are always a fine experience--

FOUR WAYS INN--(one of Bermuda's very best dining rooms for decades)
