Bermuda in November

Thinking of going to Bermuda early to mid November for relaxation and golf. Does anyone have any input as to what weather we might expect? I know thats a tough one.

Also any thoughts on where to stay. We have stayed at Pompano Beach Club many years ago and enjoyed its views and proximity to golf. Any other suggestions?

Thanks very much

As you suspect, there's no tellin' what weather may or may not do at any given dates in the future but as general rules you can expect daytime Air Temps to run anywhere in a range from the high-60°-to-high-70°s (warmer earlier in the month...cooler later...6°-8° cooler in the evening) and Ocean Water Temps to run in the low-70°s (warmer early...cooler later). You can check the historic CLIMATE '..averages..' for Bermuda during November yourself at--

http://www.weather.bm/climate.asp

But, this is a great time of the year for golf, tennis, etc...and though Ocean Water Temps are cooling down toward winter lows, you can still spend time at the beach.

Given that golf I a priority and the wonderful PORT ROYAL GOLF COURSE is immediately adjacent to the POMPANO BEACH CLUB property, It's difficult to find any fault with your initial choice (PBC is close enough to the 8th hole at Port Royal that if you're having lunch out on the Coral Reef Café terrace and the waiters start yelling, '..DUCK !!..'...it doesn't mean that a new entrée has been added to the menu.) terrace In addition to great Port Royal, the courses at RIDDELL'S BAY and BELMONT HILLS course are a short taxi ride away (10-15 mins) and the 'executive length, par-3 'Turtle Hill' course at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel is only a few minutes down the road.

To the best of my knowledge, the 9 hole, par-3, 'mashie' course at the old Horizons & Cottages property (now closed) at Mount Pleasant in Paget, has been closed for the past few years. Perhaps like the Saint George's public course (also closed) local golfers may still putter 'round it. It is no longer '..open..' to the general public.
