While we are on the subject, does anyone have first hand experience of seeing a movie at the Neptune in the Dockyard? We've walked past it many times but never been to a show there, nor in Hamilton for that matter. Don't remember anyone posting about going to see a movie in Bermuda.
Sorry...like you, we've walked past the Neptune Cinema but never gone in. The only time we've ever gone to a movie in Bermuda was back in 1990, during a 5½ day & night stretch of miserable weather--serious rain or the imminent threat of rain (not so much as a glimpse of sun or moon for nearly 6 days)--and went to a movie at the old Little Theater, up at the top of Queen Street in downtown Hamilton. The only reason we did was because it was something that we'd never done in Bermuda....just for the 'novelty' of it. Haven't experienced that sort of extended, miserable weather in Bermuda since (Thanks !! to the gods-of-weather)...nor felt compelled to '..go to the movies..' in Bermuda since. No matter how great the film might be...it can't possibly be better than even a 'bad day' out 'n about in Bermuda.
Here's the link to the article from the Royal Gazette about from the Island Restaurant Group '..Dinner & Movie offer
"..Restaurant chain teams up with cinemas to offer dinner and a movie deal.." (Royal Gazette--01/07/14)--
