All beaches are public but access often isn't, especially along the West coast where a lot of unfortunate building is going on. Some hotels allow day passes you would have to ask the individual hotels on that one, particularly if they are AI.

All the beaches are public, but on beaches at hotels sunloungers etc are owned by the hotel and not for use for non guests. Beaches such as Mullens on the west coast have loungers that you can rent for the day. Some hotels will allow you to purchase day passes, but I guess it all depends on the time of the year as to what the price would be. If you are travelling in low season, the hotels will probably offer good prices for day passes as the properties are normally half empty. Where are you staying on the island?

Rockley Beach is nice and you can rent chairs. There are washroom facilities and beach huts selling drinks and food.
