we are going to barbados in june and have been a few times before and never stayed on the south coast. we are taking a 9yr old and 8yr old with us and wondered if the bars are kid friendly to a certain time or a big no no ? we stayed on the west coast before.

During the day the kids would be fine in the sports bar at the Ship Inn (especially if there's football etc on) or the restaurant or in McBrides, I would say up until evening meals stop being served.

Places like Scottie's, Saltash, Southern Palms bar, Carib Beach Bar, Lighthouse, Steakhouse, Oliver's at Ocean's 11, After Dark etc would also be absolutely fine!

I have seen kid's around the ages of your's at certain bar's. can't tell you if they all have certain rules but there are a few in the Gap that have a kind of relaxed and laid back attitude towards children. if you are passing or want to try a bar just pop in and ask them.
