You can type in Restaurants in the search box and get a ton of listings on some great places to eat. Just a few off hand that are great and inexpensive are Just Grillin, Surfside Restaurant and Bar as well as Oistens fish fry. Type those names in the search option and get more information on them.

As suggested the search box is great. Try inexpensive restaurants and local restaurants as searches. Recently there were a number of posts with the same question and there were pages of great suggestions.

Fisherman's Pub and WaveRider in Speightstown do good local food. Also, don't be afraid to try the food vans that are often found near beaches/condo construction sites. These are mainly there for the locals who are working in the area, but tourists also enjoying eating from them. They tend to be out from 11am - 2pm ish.

We've always enjoyed dropping by at Granny's (across from the Oistins fish market.) Also The Fish Pot, and 39 steps. And upon arrival we celebrate at Bert's for another beautiful holiday in Barbados.

Enjoy your trip, it's always beautiful in Barbados.

Most of the suggestions so far are at the cheaper end of the spectrum which I would agree with. I would add the Roti hut accross from The House in St James.

For fine dining my favourite is Tides in Holetown. A bit cheaper and less formal Scarlets is worth a look.
