trransportation from airport

Hi there.

would like to know what is a fair price for transport from airport to Holetown resort (Palms Resort). What is the price in Bajan dollars.

also is it normal to pay for safe in room in your condo? and what is the normal rate if staying for 1 month in Bajan dollars.

thanks in advance to those who can help.

When you come out of the arrivals part of the airport there is a desk with a big board giving taxi prices in barbados dollars. The supervisor will allocate you at taxi at that fixed price. Not sure about the safe situation as the condos are privately owned.

In April 2010 the airport board showed Holetown as 58 BDS$ ...one way

Make sure the driver agrees the rate before you get in ..price in US$ would be 29

I have NEVER been charged for a safe in a villa/apartment ...once we had to pay a deposit for the key

If it is there it should be free ...part of the package
