Mid-March is the peak of the dry season. I wouldn't worry about rain, honestly. Most-likely you'll experience some some quick, warm, scattered showers. The surf on the south coast tends to be quite nice that time of year as well.

Hi!

Do come prepared for a mixed bag. It has been much rainier this year. We have been here since January 1 and have been rained off the beach and off the boardwalk quite a few times. Some of the downpours are short lived but torrential!!!!! The skies have been more overcast - cloudy as well. We have experienced few and far between brilliant bright blue skies. That has been our reality on the south coast. We do tend to get caught up in the forecasts but have learned to make a plan and a backup for the coming day......based on the weather. The last few days have improved but I think this is just the way the season is going to be this year. It is not a complete washout and we are very brown but it has certainly been up and down.

That's a big drag. Hope it clears up for our arrival in a few weeks. :)
