Barbados end July - beg August

Thinking of going to Barbados for 10 days but can't decide which hotel as there are negatives and positives about them all. Going with my husband and 3 kids, girl of 21 and 2 boys 18 & 14. Want a bit of night life, not too noisy though, some luxury and beautiful beach + good fresh food. Looked at Colony Club, Crystal Cove, Turtle Beach, Coral Reef........ really stuck. Any ideas?

If your budget will run to it I would seriously suggest you consider Coral Reef - definitely a bit of luxury

..of the others you mention you might find Crystal Cove a little isolated although it is on a frequent bus route

I second Coral Reef Club - they are a fantastic property, family-run. Also good is The Sandpiper - run by the same family. Both have free water sports, good restaurant and are in good locations. It's a 10-min. walk into Holetown from Coral Reef, and about 5 minutes from The Sandpiper. In Holetown you will find shops and restaurants, including the new high-end Limegrove Center.

Hi,

Cant help with your specific query, sorry, but we are taking our 19 and 16 year old boys at the same time and staying at Villas on the Beach in Holetown. We are told the location has everything we might need and are really looking forward to it. Hope to see you there!
