Waves, Fairmont or Turtle Beach? Help please

Struggling to choose between these 3. Can anyone assist based on experience please as we wish to get something sorted asap.

Have checked them out on YouTube and didn't really like the split resort, or the small beach at Waves, so guess this might now *not* be an option;

Turtle Bay looked much better, and have just read some good reviews on here for Fairmont. We are 2 adults no kids, looking for nice/clean surroundings and lovely decent sized beach, so which one would be best for us? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe that Royal Pavilion is All Inc but you may be able to by a package to suit. Turtle Beach definitely is all inclusive to so problem there. Other than that both hotels are on lovely beaches. The Royal Pavilion I would suggest would be quieter as it is a little way outside of Holetown on the West Coast. Turtle Beach is at the quiet end of St. Lawrence Gap in Dover on the South Coast.

Hi Markopolo797

Turtle Beach is on South Coast on Dover Beach which has high waves and not that suitable to swim in , but great fun nonetheless - lovely soft sand and a fabulous steady, cooling breeze.

The Fairmont Pavilion is situated on a lovely beach with ( usually * ! ) calmer seas, from which you can walk mostly by the shore southwards towards Sandy Lane and bejond.

* There are times when the seas on the west coast can be as rough as the south coast - we experienced this last Christmas and the Christmas before with surfing been done on Sandy Lane beach that we have never seen there before !

Enjoy where ever you stay.

Thanks to all for the input. We've done the deed and booked Turtle Beach.

Normally I would recommend The Waves, we have been there many times and love it. The sea is smoother than Turtle Beach, and the beach can sometimes be really nice - on a good day you can walk from The Waves through to Crystal Cove. The food at The Waves is excellent. The rooms have all been totally refurbished and the bed is really really comfortable. Location is also good for catching buses right outside the hotel either to Bridgetown or Holetown and beyond. The split hotel didn't and has never bothered us. You just have to be careful crossing the road! The seaview from the main part of the hotel is fantastic.

But - we are off to Turtle Beach next year for our sons wedding. They chose there because the hotel is nearer The Gap, and some of their friends will probably want a bit of nightlife! I think the sea view can be obscured here with trees but we will find out!

thanks again for the additional input - always useful.

I don't mind a bit of 'choppy' sea as we only go and dip in there if it gets too hot and need to cool off. The beach is one of our main 'must have' things so we hope we got it right on that score. Thnx Kim Steve for the pm.
