The Sanctuary is not open but there's a small restaurant type place to eat and enjoy the grounds.

Thanks.

So we would not see any wildlife?

What a shame its closed. What's the reason?

Is it worth the trip from Holetown for the gardens?

This link should answer your question regarding why it is closed.

Last time I drove by there, the entrance was chained up... so I don't think that you can actually enter to see the gardens...but I could be wrong. One of the members who live on the south coast should be able to clarify this.

I believe it is still closed. It opened for one day when I was there earlier this year and may do so again next year.

Yes unfortunately it is still closed. You can use the little cafe there - I went to the open day in January and it's absolutely lovely inside....such a pity.

Hi we went to the cafe for lunch in August. Food was lovely but the service was terribly slow (it was pretty busy) & we got bitten to pieces while sitting outside. The grounds are beautiful though and our son had great fun feeding the fish (fish food available to buy) in the big lake. Would recommend but take your bug spray. Think it was open every day bar Sunday.
