Barbados --- best beach

Hi,

I'm planning my vacation in Barbados. Is July a good time to stay on this Caribbean island?

My priority --- wonderful beach, full of palm trees. Which beach do you recommend? Hotels too.

Recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Greetings,

Darek

Hi Darek,

The west coast of the island is the ideal place for best beaches in my opinion. There are a few on the south coast but I'm not sure that you will find that combination of a wonderful beach filled with palm trees.

On the west coast, beaches I would recommend are Paynes Bay, Sandy Lane Beach, Fitts Village Beach, Holetown Beach and Mullins Beach to name a few.

On the south coast I would recommend Miami Beach and Accra Beach to name a few.

Hotel recommendations on the west coast:-

Almond Beach Village - almondresorts.com/the-resorts/…

Beach View Hotel - http://www.beachviewbarbados.com/

Colony Club - http://www.colonyclubhotel.com/

Coral Reef Club - http://www.coralreefbarbados.com/

Mango Bay - www.mangobaybarbados.com/en/welcome.php

Hotel recommendations on the south coast:-

Savannah Hotel - http://www.savannahbarbados.com/

Worthing Court Hotel - http://www.worthingcourt.com/

Bougainvillea Beach Resort - http://www.bougainvillearesort.com/

Rostrevor Hotel -http://www.rostrevorbarbados.com/

Depending on how much you want to spend, I'd recommend Coconut Court Beach Hotel. large beach with lots of Palm Trees.. Close to Bridgetown on the south coast and easy access, via the south coast boardwalk to many restaurants and other sites along the south coast. The hotel is not a 4 or 5 star property and fairly basic but.. a nice place to spend your holiday..

July is indeed a brilliant time to visit.

I would also look at the fantastic Hilton Barbados Resort, which sits on two amazing beaches!

Hello,

Thank you for the information and advice.

What do you think of Crane Beach and Bottom Bay Beach. They look fantastic :)

Are there hotels nearby?

Yes the Crane at Crane beach. Absence of palm trees though.

No hotels at Bottom Bay but more trees.

Agree with Sunnie that Coconut Court has the most palm trees ON the beach and that the hotel there is basic but clean and well located.

I would definitely check out Harrismith and Bottom Bay. In fact you might as well do Crane also as that's nearby.

Visually Bottom Bay is superb - one for the photo album

Best

i recommend Accra beach hotel.it is central to all things and Accra beach[rockley beach]

is the best beach in Barbados.

you get some small waves to surf and shopping and restaurants are close and you will not get bothered by venders as much as some other beaches.

happy days

Bottom Bay, Harrismith, Foul Bay and Crane Beach, all within 10 minutes drive of each other, all stunningly beautiful and ideal for wedding photo's.

The Crane Resort is the only large hotel in the area, but again, its' stunning and ideal for a wedding/honeymoon : )

Foul Bay beach was my favourite - stunning beach with no people but too dangerous to swim. Crane Beach is great for body surfing-go round the corner and there's an even better looking beach but I wouldn't risk swimming.

Prettiest beach with snorkeling and very few people(due to no bars, chairs) for me was Gibbes Beach-next to Mullins Beach(nice but traffic and jetski noise).

In MHO, Sandy Beach in Worthing is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Pure white sand, incredible pale turquoise ocean, two great beach bars Crystal Waters and The Carib - what more could anyone desire! A lovely small hotel on this spectacular beach is Coral Sands where I stay, and further along are the Sea Foam Haciendas, Blue Orchids and Coral Mist. All get very positive reviews. Look at Nickyboy's wonderful website to get an idea of the beauty that awaits you in Barbados, www.beachesofbarbados.com

I often torture myself by looking at Nicky's lovely film clips wistfully, especially when the weather is miserable here in the UK!

Little Arches Hotel is also gorgeous, and this a mere hop skip and jump from Miami Beach in Enterprise, again just beautiful.
