Normally the west coast is calmer but that can change quickly.

In November no beach is crowded except on a cruise day.

On the west coast I suggest Paynes Bay.

On the south coast I suggest Rockley, which has more amenities. You can snorkel at both places as Rockley has a sea wall just teeming with life.

Paynes Bay has turtles.

Taxis are easily available from the cruise terminal and both beaches.

Beach combing really doesn't exist in Barbados as it might in other places.

Enjoy

How far or how much to each beach?

Probably about $20-30 Bds or $10-15 US. Not much. You can even arrange to have the taxi driver pick you up, it's done quite often.

I'd definitely suggest Rockley Beach since you're going in November. It checks all your boxes and would be no more than $15 USD each way by taxi from the Bridgetown Port.

It's per trip, flat rates and that's it.

It would be FOLKSONE MARINE PARK near Holetown. It has everything you are looking for. Snorkeling is great, eat and drink near by. you can take a bus, just ask at the bus ternimal and bus driver, they are more than willing to help. Paul
