6 days on the west coast of Barbados in April!

I have 6 days on the west coast of Barbados in April. What are the MUST DO activities that you can reccomend? We are trying to stick to a budget so hopefully not all of them break the bank! :)

There is a thread running now about 'top 5 restaurants'. There are some excellent suggestions.

You're welcome. You'll want to check out the Fish Pot, Tides, Brown Sugar, Just Grillin, Cin Cin, Beach House and Pat's Place at Oistins.

All the mentioned hotels are nice but it can get pricey. E.G. Tides dinner may be about 75 US each but delicious and attentive service. Just Grilling - good casual atmosphere and meal about $20-30 US. Try some "Bajan" restaurants - informal and reasonable with "Bajan" food. Mustors in Bridgetown - 20 mins by bus or taxi; Crazy Eddie in Oistins or other shops in Oistins Friday/Saturday nights - crowded and lively. Or surprise surprise - food from a supermarket where lots of working Bajans get their lunch between 11 and 2 (full meal like dinner) - Sunset Crest Super Center on the West Coast. Last but not least, if you're adventurous try the mini van parked along the road close to Sandy Lane Hotel. They've been seeing there for years and always a crowd. Step out and enjoy - you wont be disappointed! Barbados Hilton also an option!

Ramshackles on Alleynes Beach , Bombas just north of Mullins Beach and Surfside on the beach in Holetown behind the Police Station. All reasonably priced on or overlooking the beach, and fun.
