UK Confectionery for a Barbadian at Christmas

I am visiting Barbados for Christmas and wonder if there is any UK confectionery/Chocolate that is not available / expensive in Barbados that might be appreciated by a resident of the island as a present.

I take a tin of Cadburys Roses and one of Quality Street which are always welcome.

Yep, totally agree with Jane. Cadburys chocolate goes down well with all my friends. One also has asked for Quality Street and shortbread in the past. I think we'll be taking an extra suitacese this year for presents and chocolate alone!

definitely quality street as a large tin in Barbados is around 30 pound so they will definitely be appreciated in fact I usually get loads of Cadbury or galaxy chocolate bars from the £1 shop in the uk as they are expensive in Barbados too.

Beachandsea

From a Bajan, definitely Quality Street, Celebrations, Cadbury Chocolates or Ferrero Rocher.

I love Galaxy and whenever i go back home, I always stock up. But I agree with the Quality Street and Roses - they are so expensive here compared to UK!

Thanks Glittergirl85. It seems from the previous posts that Quality Street has the edge. Waitrose are selling it currently for £3.60 ( down from £5 to £4 and now £3.60) per tub with a My Waitrose Card.
