What to do at Carlisle Bay

Thinking about going to Carlisle Bay for a couple of afternoons it's only a short bus ride from Pirates Inn, only time we where there was last year when we went to Diagnostic Medical Service clinic down the road from Carlisle Bay, we did stop into the boatyard to look around but they wanted a entrance fee so we didn't go in, besides the Boatyard what else is there to do there, looks like a nice long beach to walk

It's one of the best beaches for swimming and snorkeling.

Don't take the entrance of Boatyard unless you want to pay for the chairs and umbrella. Beach is free and you have many other access without paying. As mentioned, it is one of the best beaches, it is my favorite. You can swim with the turtles, have a long walk, eat a lobster at Lobster Alive, an easy walk to Bridgetown.

I was there last Christmas New Year 2013, and you can rent chairs and umbrella for 5$ each and they give you a punch or a soft drink.

Could have a cutter at Cuz's, though it's impossible for them to live up to the hype.

Will, I love going to the Boatyard for the day! The entrance fee is refunded in food and drink...both of which are reasonable and tasty. You have the use of chairs and facilities (washrooms, shower).. There is a comfortable area for eating and cover from the weather in case the rain comes in. I also believe they offered chair service for drinks. Have another look before writing it off.
