days out in car

Hi - I am returning to Barbados in may and have hired a car for 3 days.

On the 1st day we are planning on going to Huntes gardens and Bathsheba.

Are the any other "must do" suggestions for the other 2 days, we are staying on the south coast

and just want to do a bit of exploring!

Cheers

Kim

I would suggest a visit to St Nicholas Abbey and to one of the "off the beaten track" beaches like Foul Bay or Bottom Bay.

I would suggest a visit up to Little Good Harbour so you can lunch at the Fish Pot. You can then explore the top end of the island.

Animal Flower Cave

Mount Gay distillery St. Lucy - not the tourist place in Bridgetown - show up and as soon as they find someone who's not too busy, you'll get a free tour (doesn't hurt to call ahead, tho)

On to Cove bay for the views of Pico Teneriffe

As mentioned, St. Nicholas Abbey and the close by view from Cherry Hill

Then the Barbados Wildlife Reserve

BTW, when you go to Hunte's Garden drop by the Village Bar in Lemon Arbor and Gun Hill on the way up or back
