A1 service, Barbados sim cards NANO MICRO or Standard

I purchased our sim cards from eBay and had them delivered via express mail with no problems at all. This saved us time and lots of money as we enjoyed the internet at local rates as opposed to roaming charges.

We now have our cards handy for all future visits, best decision made.

As I wrote on your other thread -

May I ask what company the SIM cards belong to ie Digicel or Lime. I presume they must be second hand? How could you sure that the number still exists and hadn't been cancelled through lack of use at least annually? Just a thought. ?

You don't have get SIMs from Digicel or LIME. Many companies offer international SIMs (such as those from Mobal or Telestial) that provide service in multiple countries at local rates. This is handy if your trip involves visiting several countries and you don't want to purchase a SIM from each one. Or if you need to know your inbound number in advance so you can give it to friends/family before you depart.

But... if you're simply going only to Barbados it's usually easier and cheaper for most people to purchase the SIM locally.

Do they all work in BIM though bp? I bought a Lyca SIM card in desperation once as the Digi service was not allowing me to text from the UK. one Summer. The Lyca SIM never did work for Barbados even though I was told it would, and in the end Digicel started working again and I received compensation from them.
