Candles and coils

Morning,

probably a silly question, but will i be able to buy citronella candles and mossi coils in the supermarket in Oistins, I normally bring the tin candles with me but i've not ordered any so i thought it would be easier to get there, but i don't want to be trailing around shopping wasting valuable beach time lol

Thanks Sunnie - will ask neighbour on return to see about buying some from Carters in Wildey if they are still in stock or checking on H&B in Warrens as well (neighbours who use seem to think highly of them)

Yes - we too have used those little round electric things which one puts a tablet in - they seem to work more or less like the coils - but whereas if the coil breaks it tends to "go out" as it drops off its metal post and onto the plate - the electric gadget stays giving off fumes until the impregnation wears off the tablet. Found the citronella candles tend to blow out on the balcony if it is too windy - (mind you then the mossies are less likely to be around)

Going back to citronella candles, I was unable to find any decent sized ones in Supercentre most of the Winter----------------I like the big bulbous glass ones, because they last longer and tend not to blow out, but I found a ready supply of that type for a really good price in Shopsmart.

Haven't seen those in Supercentre Westie - sounds a better deal than the little citronella ones
