RAIN,RAIN,all day or just a few minutes

Hi does anyone know does it rain all day or is it just for a few minutes like hawaii and clear up.

It really depends on whether or not there is a system affecting the island. For the most part, Barbados' rainfall is comprised of scattered showers. Sometimes the rain falls in the north and the west/south is completely dry.

If there is a system affecting the island such as a Tropical Wave or an area of low pressure, rainfall can be 4-5 hours non-stop and islandwide.

As October approaches, the rainfall will become more abundant.

It is so hot at the moment and no rain for a few days apart from the odd sprinkle mainly early morning or in the evening at the moment - don't worry about the weather.

When I went in November 2009, it rained a few times. The sun was still out and a shower would pass over and last maybe 10 minutes. It was not a problem at all.
