Recommended hotels near Bridgetown, Barbados

I am flying into Bridgetown as a connection between the Grenadines and the U.S. in June 2014, and need to stay overnight. Since my flight is early in the morning, I will need to stay near the airport, something mid-range priced and comfortable. I saw a previous recommendation about Little Arches or Butterfly Beach hotel. Are there any recommendations from previous travelers?

Butterfly Beach remains a good option close to the airport. If you want something a bit more luxurious try the Marriott or Hilton as they are 15 and 20 mins drive from the airport respectively.

If you stay at Little Arches, Butterfly Beach, Silver Point, Sea Breeze or Bougainvillea you never have to go near any traffic and all are within about 10 minutes from the airport. All are mid-priced properties and ideal for a one night stay with easy and quick airport access.

thank you for the recommendation; since we arrive afternoon and leave early morning will keep this in mind if more local places don't work out
