Per person I would say about $30 USD (includes a beer or two). You can get a feel of the various restaurants on the island here:

Enjoy!

I would say the average price in US Dollars would be more like $40 US for lunch at someplace like The Tides, and at least $50 - $60 US for dinner (and upwards) at the nicer restaurants.

A minimum might be $30 - $35 US at someplace like Zaccios.

All prices are per person.

Asking for an average meal price depends on a number of things.

What level of meal do you like? So the answer is, inexpensive to quite expensive. From road side diners to chic upscale restaurants. The prices given in the previous posts are accurate if you want something in a mid price range. However as I said it could be less or much more.

Take a look at "Restaurants" down the left side of the page a browse some of he sites, thier menues and prices where available.

Low end - you have Just Grillin - fish platters are around $32, drinks/beer around $5 - website: http://www.justgrillinbarbados.com/ Zaccios (ocean front), ranges from $22 for sandwiches at lunchtime to around $50 for entrees, see their menu: http://www.zaccios.com/LunchMenu.html. Surfside bar (ocean front) is lower/similar prices to Zaccios but is more basic, okay for a drink and maybe lunch but perhaps for dinner try Zaccios instead. You also have a KFC, bean and bagel cafe inside the West Mall shopping centre which again is very reasonable. Mid range is The Beach House (ocean front) - they are doing 2 courses for $75 at the moment for dinner (very good value) or $85 for 3 - their lunch prices are similar / slightly higher than Zaccios website: www.thebeachhousebarbados.com/menus.htm. High end you have Tides, 2 courses would be approx $130 and up (there is a mandatory minimum spend of $100 per person). The Cliff is $245 for 2 courses. All prices are in BARBADOS dollars, most restaurant prices will be quoted in Barbados dollars - you get 2 Barbados $ to 1 US$.
