What area to stay in Barbados

Three families have found a house we would like to rent in the Sugarhill area of St. James. Is this a good location? We have 6 kids with us. What activities should we do with the kids?

You will need a vehicle if you are staying at Sugar Hill to explore the island even to go shopping in Holetown too far to walk. Definately take the children to Harrison's Cave this is a really good educational and fun morning or afternoon trip for them but avoid wednesdays - cruise day!! I would also take them to Bathsheba where they can enjoy the rock pools and watch the surfers. Listen out for local cultural events Barbados is very family orientated so the children will be made welcome wherever you go. Oistins friday night where the kids can have a boogie!! If children are happy adults are even happier Enjoy!!

Harrisons caves are very interesting.Bathsheba breath taking.

For children/teenagers snorkling with turtles. They help the children. Tiami. Fab!

Jeep safari. Lots of fun.

Best of all Segways! I was so nervous but when the time was up didn't want to stop would do it again in a heart beat! Have lots of fun! There are age lmits etc. Give them a ring.

This time I want to learn to play the steel drums in Brigdetown, walk on the new board walk from the Hilton and snorkel at the nature park.
