I would want to do a guided snorkel with Renee www.infobonaire.com/reneesnorkeltrips

and then I would want to tour the island to see the salt pans, the slave huts, the donkey sanctuary and the windsurf beach. I would want to finish with a walk around town and look at the lovely colors of the buildings and the water.

Oh heaven forbid! Only one day?? If me, I'd do two or three dives out at Klein (since I'm a diver) and spend the bulk of the day on the water. I'd then stroll through town along the waterfront & find a great place to have dinner & drinks, and then plan a future trip of AT LEAST a week, preferably much longer so you can really get a taste of what the island is about.

Only one day? Mmmm, that's a toughy. But for fun, let's assume a whole day! I have to go with VINIBU and get in three dives, though it would be a toss-up between hitting Klein Bonaire and the northern sites like 1000 Steps and Karpata. On the drive back, keep your eyes out for parrots and donkeys. In the late afternoon, definately stroll around town and watch the sun go down from Karel's or Paradise Moon. And order a second Polar or Amstel while you're at it. Enjoy.

Renting a car looks pretty cheap. Is it easy to get around?
