Hurricane season??

Is hurricane season over by mid November? we want to book for mid to end of November but are somewhat fearful because of hurricanes. What happens if your trip is cancelled because of hurricane damage or flights cancelled because of hurricane activity?

Mid November is the tail end of the season. While entirely possible, chances of a hurricane forming that late are rare.

Go and enjoy!

Geez.... you're kidding, Right???

There are pages and pages of threads by people who've had trip plans cancelled or modified because of hurricanes Ike and Gustav. All you have to do is take the time to read those threads and all your questions will be answered.

I was in southern Cuba last December when Tropical storm Olga brushed past (Dec 12/07).

Nothing serious happened (for us) but I believe that Haiti once again took it on the chin.
