possible visit to cuba in march

My wife and I are thinking about a trip to Havana in march 2014. Do you need a visa or any other papers when you 're from the u.k. what is the weather like in march and is the accommodation in the Cuban homes or similar okay?. Any other information would be apprecieated.

Thank you Jim

You will need a tourist card which is a simple type of visa, and can be bought online or from the Cuban consulate or from some airlines. (Package tours include them in the price.)

Weather - March is beginning to get warm - somewhat like an English summer but not as wet !

Cuban homes - the casas particulares are like a small guest house or bed and breakfast - there is a range in style and quality.
