Brisas Rooms - Sunwing vs Nolitours

Hola,

We're wondering about the rooms that Sunwing and Nolitours are alotted and offer at the Brisas - are the Sunwing rooms better, ie: closer to the beach, newer renovated, larger, ocean views, etc.? Or are the Nolitours rooms just as nice - no differences?

Neither one will get you a beachfront room, although you can e-mail the hotel and request one, and they will accommodate you if possible. Those rooms are usually allocated to repeat visitors. They are bldgs 4, 5,6. Nolitours rooms if you havea map are in the area of 13-17. Nice quiet area close to everything. The rooms are mostly all the same size, not sure about the adjoining ones. As far as renovated, most of the rooms are in good shape, and any problems will be taken care of promply (assuming you are courteous LOL) We were in a "renovated" room last month and the sink almost fell of the wall :) not being ones to sweat the small stuff we just shoved it back in and called maintenance, and went to the beach :) Not sure where Sunwing rooms are, but these allocated rooms are not carved in stone, and you are just as likely to end up anywhere even on the beachfront.

We have booked with Nolitours for Feb 25. Don't know where our room is. So you have an email address we could email the hotel to request beachfront or should we try to upgrade when we get there? We don't mind paying a little more for it or tipping. Also are the rooms clean and do the hairdriers work?

Hey there BrantfordDoc,

We're now booked too for April...$643 each all in! Flying Cabana airlines (Hola Sun) and Run of House. We'll see where we end up, but we'll be emailing the Brisas directly for some help with placing us as we'd prefer conjoining rooms, etc. etc. etc. I have 3 different email addresses for the Brisas so perhaps better to include each in your email...not sure if all 3 are still valid:

aloja@brisas.stl.cyt.cu

relapub@brisas.stl.cyt.cu

comerc@brisas.stl.cyt.cu

Address to Roel and/or Edel.

Hope this helps you. Let me know if you get a reply and from what email addy. Have a great holiday!

Terry :)

this is the email that worked for me. I was in building 4, oceanview second floor. This building is close to everything like right beside the stage ( the entertainment staff do thier practices around 8 30 in morning. and if you want to go to bed before the end of the night show it could be an issue.

the advantage of this building is, it is very close to everything. If you leave the villas out on exit you are just hop and skip to the pool, you are right beside the stage for the night they use the audience as the entertainment ( you can cheat for your team, ie. run up to your room and grab all you bras for you team, you wait and see). The rooms were comfortable, a little older but I only sleep in the and could care less of how new they were, they were clean. this was through Nolitours not sure what the Sunwings rooms were.
