Local Bank in Santa Lucia

Is there a bank in santa Lucia for Currency exchange. If yes, How far it is from Hotel Caracol? I heard the bank at Caracol has been closed for good.

It is about 2 km from Caracol, a nice 20 minute walk if not too hot, or a buggy ride for a couple of CUC, I understood the front desks were doing the job now, even though the actual cadecas were closed, charging an extra 3 CUC though.

Sorry I meant 3 per cent not CUC

Last Friday the resort cadecas were still open until the one at the Commercial Centre opens. We were told that you will still be able to exchange money at the front desk but as sailor said.. you will pay a 3% charge extra for the convenience.

The bank at the commercial centre will be much closer than the one in the "residencial". It's located beside Caracol and Gran Club on the beach.

There is no village called Santa Lucia.. the whole area is Santa Lucia consisting of Tararoco, Residencial, La Concha, La Feem etc etc....
